For those who are active and enjoy walking, there is the opportunity to explore the village of Parkerville, before or after a meal with us. Our Heritage Pub Walk starts and finishes at The Parkerville Tavern, put together by local historian, Rob Borsje. It’s just 2.5 km and takes in historic points of interest along the way.
Lake Leschenaultia is located at 2135 Rosedale Road, Chidlow, just 45 minutes east of the Perth CBD and is accessed via Great Eastern Highway. Lake Leschenaultia is the perfect place to visit, with walk trails, lawn areas and shady trees, and an abundance of bird life including ducks, geese, herons and swamp hens.
The amazing engineering feat that is the Mundaring Weir with the water pipeline to the Eastern Goldfields region is a short drive away, near the town of Mundaring. With accessible walkways and a viewing platform overlooking the weir and the reservoir, Mundaring Weir is a beautiful destination to visit.
