Tuesday 7 May

NEW EVENT!

Join us in our first ever Pottery at The Parky, taking place on Tuesday 7 May, 6.30pm – 8.30pm, where we will learn basic pottery techniques and create personalised botanical print pieces in a relaxed and fun environment.

We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Perth Hills’ artist, Katrina Rogers of Mud Shed Pottery, to offer a brand-new evening workshop to hone your creative skills, catch up with friends, make new ones and explore your artistic side with pottery.

Where and when:
The Parkerville Tavern
Tuesday 7 May 2024
6:30pm – 8.30pm

Ticket price includes:
– Step by step guidance throughout
– All materials and firings provided
– $15 voucher to go towards purchasing food and drinks at the bar.

Katrina provides all the tools and equipment you may need. If you use reading glasses you might want to bring them along. Katrina will advise you, at the start of the session, to roll up any long sleeves and remove any rings (mainly to help keep you clean!). And it comes to pottery, having long nails can sometimes make it a bit challenging. Just a friendly heads-up!

Your ticket includes a $15 voucher to use at the bar. As you can’t consume food during the workshop, why not come a bit earlier and use your voucher towards dinner beforehand?

 ‘Creative Art Specials’:
Pre book a Share Plate for Two, containing 4 Arancini of the Day (2 per person), crusty sourdough, Stracciatella cheese, prosciutto, marinated olives. VGO: marinated artichokes, vegan feta, olives
OR
Come for dinner beforehand and enjoy a FREE bottle of wine with any 2 main meals purchased (must be full priced main adult meals, not seniors or kids menu).

Please note: your pottery will be taken home with Katrina on the night to be fired. The firing process takes approximately 6 weeks. Once your pottery is ready to collect from The Parkerville Tavern, Katrina will email you. You must collect the pottery within 14 days from when you are notified. Failure to collect your pottery within this timeframe may result in your work being disposed of.
